This afternoon I called Joe and asked him, "Is there anything I can do to serve you?" He responded with, "Why?"
OUCH!
He didn't mean it mean, but man talk about a punch to the gut. Obviously, I have not been serving as my husband's helpmate.
I encourage you to take the time to ask your husband this week a simple question...
"How can I serve you?" (Don't assume you know the answer, because his was very different than what I expected - not about sex at all :)
I love the way The Message says 1 Cor. 7:2 "Marriage is not a place to "stand up for your rights." Marriage is a decision to serve the other, whether in bed or out."
